My co-teacher made an awesome activity where kids start at one location and solve problems to receive clues about the next location. They used a cipher, figured out the combination to a lock and traveled all over the third floor (where our classroom is). I was worried that kids would take advantage and hide in corners rather than do the work, but most were interested in solving the clues. It was great that they were self checking (if you didn’t get the lock to open, check your solutions for the combination). Fun way to spend the last full day this week.
