Before school, we had our first math team meet (we compete virtually) of the Spring Season. And we won! Technically, our scores tied with the other school’s scores, but we got our score in a faster time, which apparently is the tie breaker. Huzzah!
Today I collected our geometry “poster projects.” Students learned about triangle congruence, and then were asked to apply their knowledge of triangle congruence to prove properties about quadrilaterals, and diagonals about quadrilaterals. And — importantly — once they proved various things, they needed to somehow demonstrate their big conclusions and how they got their big conclusions. I haven’t yet had a chance to go through them… but I did open this one which made me grin. So so pretty:
