Cues

One thing I’ve noticed that is a {hopefully} a cue that I’ve taught a complicated lesson well is the type of questions students are asking. Instead of asking for help with everything or how to do this, I notice students asking ‘or’ questions.

“Do I set these equal to each other or to 180?”

“Do I plug this in or do Pythagorean Theorem?”

Or just asking for verification.

“Do I start by finding x?”

“So first I should rewrite this as a radical?”

Here’s to more or’s!
