Choir

My boys and I got to go to the choir concert tonight. To my joy, Jonas was absolutely mesmerized. I have a minor in music and was in chorale all four years of college so music is a very important part of my life. Jonas has always loved music and sometimes expresses himself in song when he has a hard time with big feelings. I love that he loved tonight.

The kids were stunning in their black dresses and tuxes. They sounded and looked the part—truly enchanting.

And, oh, how it does my heart good to hear, “Mrs. Peterson! You came!”

Sometimes, one hour of listening can say more to them than any words ever could…
