At this mornings meeting (all high school students gather together every other Thursday), we had a guest speaker. He was a former middle schooler at our school. He went on to become a famous, award-winning comic (who publishes in the New Yorker!). He talked to the kids about analyzing comics. He was dynamic and fun-spirited! And then gave them some life advice:

I am doing an independent study with a student. I assigned her a lot of tasks two weeks ago. She was able to complete them all!
one good thing
